Benefits of Uploading Documents
By contributing to Disserty's library with your uploads, you not only enrich the reading experience for our users but also gain certain advantages. Below, we address the most common queries regarding these benefits: Most documents on Disserty are available to access if the user uploads a document that belongs to him and he has full ownership of the document (our algorithm might refuse a document due to similarity with another ), but there are some document uploads that require a subscription or to buy in order to access them. If you don’t have a subscription, you may still be able to access a document from our library of user uploads in exchange for uploading your own original document(s) to Disserty.
Can I be paid for uploading documents?
We do not offer monetary payment for documents for now, but we will include this in the future.
I’m not able to access a document after making uploads. What should I do?
Make sure the content you’re trying to access is a document that can be accessed
If you’ve uploaded documents, you’ll be able to access a document from our library in return. However, you will not be able to directly access other subscription content marked as so, in exchange for document uploads.
Take some troubleshooting steps
Sometimes access issues can be fixed by clearing your cache, cookies, and browsing history. We also recommend trying a different web browser altogether while accessing. You can take a look at our articles (soon).
Do not use a download manager
We do not allow the use of download managers to download content from our library or any other third-party program to do so. this might cause your account to be banned for life
Try accessing the document later
The ability to access can be interrupted by automated systems in place for the protection of our library. You’ll see a message indicating that the access has been restricted if this occurs. While we aren’t able to lift actions taken by these systems, you should be able to try accessing a document again after 24 hours!
Still, having trouble?
If you continue to experience issues with accessing a document, we can take a closer look! Just contact Support and include all of the following details:
- A link to the document that you're unable to access
- A description or screenshot of what you see when you try to access the document
- Any troubleshooting steps you’ve taken
Do you have additional questions on documents or need other assistance? Please let our Support team know – we’re happy to help!
