Introduction: Banana blossom, represent a valuable source of potassium, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, minerals, fatty acid content, flavonoids, saponin, essential and non-essential amino acid, tannins, glycoside and steroid. Banana flower was a good antioxidant source. Corn dogs are often served as street food or as fast food. Many different people stake the claim of inventing the corn dog. The earliest claim is made by German immigrants who comes to live permanently in a foreign country. According to the story, their German sausages weren’t well received in Texas, so they battered them in corn meal and fried them up. The sticks followed in later years. In 1927, there was a US patent filed for a “Combined Dipping, Cooking, and Article Holding Apparatus.” In other words, a stick. Method Research Design The type of research design used by the researchers was both experimental and non- experimental. It was experimental because the researchers used this study to determine if the hotdog was suitable for the replacement of the hotdog in a corn dog out of banana blossom. On the other hand, in order to collect data, non-experimental research design was used. Through non-experimental research design, the researchers were able to know the different perspective of the students in the experiment conducted by the researchers. Population and Sampling The respondents of this study were from the population of Cavite State University of Indang, Cavite consisting of (50) students from College department enrolled in the A.Y. 2020-2021. The researchers used availability sampling which is one of the types of non-probability sampling. Students who are available and willing to respond at the time where the researchers gather data are automatically considered as the respondents. Research Instrument The researchers designed and formulated survey questions by the use of self-constructed Likert Scale. It is used to determine the taste of the produced experimental corn dog out of banana blossom by asking the participants to respond on a series of statements about the topic which is suitable in order to easily find the answers from the participants. Product Making The following are the ingredients used by the researchers: Mixture of water, all-purpose flour and banana blossom Product Procedure Making Corn dog Out of Banana Blossom Banana blossom was cut into small pieces. The bits of the banana blossom were mixed into water and all-purpose flour and molded like a hotdog. Data Gathering Procedure The researchers came up with a research problem, that is knowing the suitability of changing the hotdog on a corn dog out of banana blossom. The created survey questions were based from the taste and characteristics of the experimental corndog out of banana blossom. The survey question used Likert scale with choices: Strongly Agree; Agree; Neutral; Disagree; and Strongly Disagree. The respondents accumulated were from College Department of Cavsu Indang, Cavite. Fifty respondents answered the survey questionnaires. Statistical Treatment The researchers used percentage to determine and compare the results on the self- constructed Likert Scale.
