It also shows that this idea of protection is an illusion: people believe that the 2nd Amendment is essential to their own safety (= à leur propre sécurité) whereas it actually allows (= alors qu’il permet en fait) an easy access to dangerous weapons (= aux armes dangereuses). In fact, this video is made to make people aware (= rendre les gens conscients) that carrying a gun can be lethal and dangerous. People who fear for their security (= qui ont peur pour leur sécurité) enter a fake gun shop where the salesman tries to sell them guns that have already killed (= qui ont déjà tué) innocent people. It has a strong effect on the potential customers (= sur les clients potentiels) who immediately refuse to buy them and they become aware (= ils deviennent conscients ) that if they carry a gun, the consequences can be dramatic.
