Returning to the workplace Bangalore - India Introduction Welcome Back Nutants ! It is with a sense of excitement and cautious optimism that we welcome you back to the office. Over the past one and half years, we have all been through both professional and personal challenges. We have been tested, had to adjust and evolve, and learned how to work and live from wherever we were. As each of us thinks about going back to our physical office, you must decide for yourself when is the right time to go back in. Wherever you decide to work, this transitional period will be a time of experimentation. We will have people working from home, working in the office, or working from anywhere. Now is the time to figure out the best schedule for your teams, the best way to include everyone, wherever they are ! in your meetings, phone calls, discussions. It’s a time for us to figure out how we really work…..how Nutanix really works. We will figure out together the best way for Nutanix to work today and into the future. If you do come into the office, we’ve put together this guide on what to expect. Our focus is your health and safety. Below are friendly reminders on how to maintain a safe workplace. • Come into the office if you are WELL. If you feel sick or feverish, please stay HOME and help prevent the spread of illness in the workplace. If you feel ill (whether COVID related or not), • Let your Manager/People team know if think you have been exposed to COVID-19. • Please utilize the hand sanitizing stations, centrally located throughout the office. Use disinfectant products provided in meeting rooms and other high touch areas. • Masks are to be always worn within the workplace • Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds • Remind those you work with outside the company that we have a “NO Visitors” policy until further notice. This includes family members and children. There's no onsite Interviews for candidates. • For latest Office Requirements Visit intranet Return to Work Status • Comply with “Clean Desk Policy” at your desk to assist our cleaning crew. • In effort to further maintain the safety of our employees, we have put together a small office kit that will be handed over when you arrive at office. • Office Kit includes an acrylic key hand tool; use this to open doors, push buttons, disinfectant spray, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipe and N95 Mask. | 2 Healthy workplace Nutanix’s responsibility (what we are doing to help maintain a safe workplace) In order to allow for the enhanced cleaning protocols, we will maintain a “Clean Desk Policy” to ensure a healthier work environment. • Ventilation 24x7 where possible; Maintain temperature as per govt norms with maximized use of outside air. Nutanix is committed to ensure the safety and well being of all employees. We are taking the below necessary measures • Hospital-grade disinfectants will be used for all day and night cleanings, with increased frequency of daytime cleaning for common areas, including restrooms, staircases and elevators by landlord. • Specialized cleaning will occur using disinfectant applications to enhance our increased cleaning protocols. • Reusable glassware has been replaced with recycled/compostable single-use product in the break areas • Sanitizing agents will be provided throughout the office for meeting rooms and workspaces. Please wipe down surfaces after use. • • HVAC upgrades MERV13- Filters captures smaller mold, smoke, and allergen pollutants in addition to bacteria and virus particles, effective at capturing and filtering larger particles. UV-GI- Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation disinfects air by emitting UV-C rays. These rays kill bacteria, viruses, and fungi. | 3 In effort to do our part in reducing the spread of COVID-19, we are implementing a "CLEAN DESK POLICY" across all our offices. All employees are expected to follow these protocols, please review the following. Clean Desk Policy • Please keep all surfaces clean and clear of clutter. This enables the night shift cleaning crew to clean your desk. • Feel free to wipe down your surfaces with provided sanitizing agents in the breakrooms, meeting rooms, copy rooms, etc., as an additional precaution • Remember to take all your personal boxes home. Please let REW know if you need assistance with taking boxes to your car. | 4 New practices | workspace my workstation | clean worksurface policy How we return | 5 For a safe return to office, everyone returning to the office would have to be: • Fully vaccinated ,Office will open for fully vaccinated employees only ( 2 shots ). • You would have received an email from HR providing you with instructions on how to upload your final vaccination certificate into Workday, kindly ensure this task is completed before 13 April ,2022, in order to have your badge access to the office activated. • Should you have any trouble uploading your status to Workday or have any questions please raise a ticket with Global People Services. • For employees who choose not to be vaccinated, will be allowed to continue work from home at this time. • During this initial phase, your decision to work from the office is purely voluntary, you can determine the number of days you plan to be in the office. • Since local guidelines allow, we will have desk space to be flexible and operate at 100% capacity. If any changes are made to current regulations by the Government, there may be changes to the seating arrangements in future. • For latest Office Requirements Please visit intranet Return to Work Status How we return ( new hires and existing employees) –Security If you are an existing employee, please note the following when returning to the office: • Badge activation process takes 48hrs after you submit proof of vaccination in Workday. So please ensure to upload your final vaccination certificate in time to return to the office. • Return to a desk assigned for your team. • Review our “Clean Desk Policy” slide in this deck. Prestige Campus • The campus amenities are being upgraded by Prestige landlord, Be mindful of safety signages. • You will receive a communication on campus traffic management before 12 April ,2022 from Security. New hires If you were hired during pandemic period and have been working remotely, please note the following when returning to the office: • Badge activation process takes 48hrs after you submit proof of vaccination in Workday. So please ensure to upload your final vaccination certificate in time to return to the office. • Based on floor your team is assigned, you will be given your office access badge cards by security at the respective floor reception. Security will contact you with more information. • Workplace /Security staff will give you a tour of the office to make you familiar with all facilities and amenities available to you. • Return to a desk assigned for your team., contact your manager for any doubts on your team seating. Existing employees | 6 How we return (seating plan) • We will resume operation with a 100% capacity on the number of employees allowed to enter the office each day. • If any amendments are made to current regulations by the Government, there may be changes to the seating arrangements in future. • Employee can indicate their interest to come into office under the seating “list”. The list has team allocation layout for reference. • The desks are zoned and clearly identified with desk signage for business units/team to avoid any confusion on where you you can be seated. • There are no dedicated seat assignments ,You can be seated in workstations allotted to your respective team. • This gives employees more flexibility to enter the office when required; so, we ask for your cooperation and patience during this time. • You can also view your team allocation/zones and seating capacity in Spaces for reference via OKTA .
