Climb up and defeat the Gold Skulltula with your Fairy Slingshot, then retrieve it with your Boomerang. 2 SKULLTULA 3 Once you've learned the Song of Time, play it to make a Time Block appear. Jump on the Time Block and play the Song of Time again to create another step. Repeat this until you are near the ceil- ing, then destroy the Gold Skulltula with your Fairy Slingshot and retrieve it with the Boomerang. 3 2 3 SKULLTULA 4 Collect this Gold Skulltula on a return visit. Defeat the enemies in the room first, then use your Fairy Slingshot to defeat the Gold Skulltula. Collect it with your Boomerang. 4 SKULLTULA DUNGEON GUIDE DODONGO’S CAVERN SKULLTULAS P AGE 2/13 1 F 2 F A A B B ST A RT Dodongo’s Cavern (5) SKULLTULA 1 When you light the three torches in the adjacent room, the door to this room will unlock. When you enter, the door will lock behind you. Defeat all of the enemies to unlock the door and reveal a small treasure chest. Roll into the crates to break them open. One of them hides a Gold Skulltula. 1 1 SKULLTULA 2 Clear out all of the Armos and climb the clear blocks. Jump from the clear blocks and grab the top of the wall. Climb up and find a Gold Skulltula at the other end of the wall. 2 SKULLTULA 3 Once you've collected the Bomb Bag, remove the boulders block- ing the path with a Bomb. At the end of the path you will find a Gold Skulltula. 3 SKULLTULA 4 When you've learned the Song of Time, play it to make the Time Blocks disappear. Keep playing the Song of Time and work your way forward and to the left. In the corner of the room you will find a Gold Skulltula. 4 SKULLTULA 5 T o unlock the door to this room, set off a chain reaction with the Bomb Flowers lining the wall nearby. Inside, defeat the enemies to reveal a small treasure chest. In the top corner of the room you will see a Gold Skulltula. Use the Fairy Slingshot or Longshot to defeat it, then reel it in with the Boomerang or Longshot. 5 3 4 5 2 SKULLTULA DUNGEON GUIDE JABU JABU’S BELLY SKULLTULAS P AGE 3/13 Jabu Jabu’s Belly (4) 1 F 2 F A A B B ST A RT 2 C C 1 SKULLTULA 1 Climb the vines to reach the upper platform. At the top, use Din's Fire to defeat the Gold Skulltula. L-Target the token and use your Boomerang to collect the Gold Skulltula. 1 SKULLTULA 2 On a later visit, play the Song of Time to remove the Time Block covering the Gold Skulltula. 2 SKULLTULA 3 On your first visit, you defeated the Parasitic Tentacles on the 1st Floor to remove the appendages blocking the door leading to this room. When you return use the Lens of Truth to locate the three Keese in the room. Eliminate them to reveal a Hookshot Point. 3 SKULLTULA 4 On a later visit, destroy the boulder and defeat the Gold Skulltula behind it with a Bombchu. Press the switch to start a fountain. As you reach its peak, play the Song of Time to reveal a Time Block. Jump to the Time Block to collect the Token. 4 Climb the Hookshot Point to reach the other side, then use Din's Fire to remove the cob- webs and collect the Token with your Boomerang. Dive to acti- vate the switch underwater to unlock the door. 3 4 SKULLTULA DUNGEON GUIDE FOREST TEMPLE SKULLTULAS PAGE 4/13 F o r est T emple (5) 1 F B 1 B 2 2 F A A B B ST A RT 1 C C F F SKULLTULA 1 A Gold Skulltula is hidden behind the vines above the locked door. Use your Hookshot to defeat the Gold Skulltula and collect the T oken. 1 SKULLTULA 2 Find a Gold Skulltula hiding in a dark corner on the bottom floor of the room. This one is easy to collect. 2 SKULLTULA 3 In the left courtyard, climb the vines above the well. On the ledge above you will find a Gold Skulltula. 3 SKULLTULA 4 In the right courtyard, defeat the Gold Skulltula blocking the Hookshot Point above the entrance. Collect the Token with your Hookshot. 4 SKULLTULA 5 After you drain the well, drop down to the tunnel below. A Gold Skulltula can be found at one end of the tunnel. Defeat and collect it with your Hookshot. 5 2 3 4 5 D D E E SKULLTULA DUNGEON GUIDE FIRE TEMPLE SKULLTULAS PAGE 5/13 Fire T emple (5) 1 F 2 F 3 F A A B ST A RT C C 4 F 5 F B D E F G H I J D G I J F E H SKULLTULA 1 After you've released the imprisoned Goron with the Megaton Hammer, collect the Gold Skulltula inside the cell. 1 SKULLTULA 3 3 T o the right of the door leading to the center room, play the Song of Time to reveal a Time Block. Use it to get over the wall of flames. Collect the Gold Skulltula through the door. To get back over the wall of flames, play the Song of Time again to reveal another Time Block allow- ing you to jump back over. SKULLTULA 2 Once you've r evealed the Hookshot Points and climbed above the maze, play the Song of Time next to the Hookshot Point near the elevated locked door. Climb onto the Hookshot Point and jump to the Time Block. Use your Hookshot to reach the nearby ledge, then again to reach the elevator that will take you to the 4th Floor. 2 T arget the new Hookshot Points, then pull the movable block away, uncovering the Gold Skulltula. Reactivate the switch to remove the fire again and quickly pull yourself up to defeat and collect the Gold Skulltula before the wall of flames returns again. On the 4th Floor, target the face on the wall to unlock the door lead- ing to the 5th Floor. Climb to the 5th Floor and activate the switch next to the wall of flames protecting the Gold Skulltula. This will reveal two new Hookshot points. Return to where you entered the room and activate the switch to briefly stop the wall of flames. 1 2 3 4 5 SKULLTULA DUNGEON GUIDE SKULLTULA DUNGEON GUIDE P AGE 6/13 Fire T emple (5) SKULLTULA 4 Enter the middle room through the upper door. Use your Hookshot to pull yourself through the two walls of fire and activate the rusted switch with the Megaton Hammer. This will unlock a gate below. 4 Pull yourself back through and exit the middle room. Maneuver through the maze of fire on the to reach the lower door leading to the middle room. Bomb the wall to reveal a Gold Skulltula. SKULLTULA 5 After collecting the last Gold Skulltula, take the other door in the middle room to reach the maze of fire on the other side. Activate the switch to lower the wall of flames for a limited time, allowing you to reach the door to the next room. Defeat the Flare Dancer to give you access to the elevator. 5 Jump onto the elevator, then quickly jump off and collect the Key hiding underneath it. When the elevator returns, take it to the 4th Floor and use the Key to reach the 5th Floor. Now you need to col- lect another Key from the small treasure chest surrounded by fire. The crystal switch activates Hookshot Points, but you'll have bet- ter luck if you reveal the scarecrow Pierre near the switch that tem- porarily deactivates the fire around the chest. Play your personal composition to reveal Pierre, then use the Hookshot to reach the ledge above and collect the Key before the wall of flames returns. Return to the crystal switch and use the Megaton Hammer on the nearby ledge to drop to a new room on the 4th Floor. Use the Key to reach the next room. There are two Stalfos in this room, but you don't need to defeat them to continue on. Use the Megaton Hammer to drop a staircase.
