Introduction The intention of this guide is to explain the features of FMRTE. There are many so I will try to explain each feature to you to the best of my knowledge but I will require feedback to make further additions and subtractions. It is strongly recommended to test the software first to see if you like it and that it works for you before you go onto activation with a valid license key as that will allow you save any and all changes. As always, make sure FM and FMRTE are up to date as only then will you be able to fully benefit from all the features. Please take some time look at the pictures and to read the accompanying text so you can be familiar with the feature in question. Main Window The picture below shows the initial screen that you will come across when you first run FMRTE. On there, you will find numerous buttons at the top for quick navigation (each button will be explained further in the guide), a search bar which is self explanatory, a drop-down menu button labelled FMRTE as well as others. You will also come across a page titled Information which contains a message from the developer. Quick Navigation Buttons These buttons are located at the top of the main window and are the hotlinks to quickly navigate through FMRTE. Each button are briefly explained below. Opens the FMRTE forums Shows all future transfers in your save Opens Preset Manager so you can create your own custom preset Saves all changes you make Opens Search Filter to locate specified fields Opens Freezer Manager to manage frozen players set to freeze upon open Reloads the current page displayed in FMRTE Mass Edit fixed values for players, staff or clubs Manage your Notifications and Subscriptions Same as the Home button View all player retirements in your save Favourites This drop-down shows the nation you are managing in, the team you are managing and the profile you created. You can bookmark your favourite pages in FMRTE through this feature. Shortlists This menu allows you to create shortlists with a combination of players, staff, clubs, nations, stadiums, etc... that can be shared amongst FMRTE users. Search Bar This feature is the alternative to the current screen feature that is currently disabled. You can search for just about anything in FM through the search bar but you need to know the exact name of the object you want to edit otherwise FMRTE will not find it. Clicking the magnifying glass will allow you to select/deselect categories that FMRTE will search in. FMRTE Button This button has several options built-in namely Settings, Visit Home Page and About. Visit Home Page is self-explanatory, About opens the Information page and Settings will be explored further. Load Game Button This button is self-explanatory. It loads your save into FMRTE. Information Message The illustration below is just a short message from the developer. It is the first group of text you will see upon seeing the initial window. It can be hidden by clicking the x in the FM - Real Time Editor tab and can be shown again by clicking About in the FMRTE drop-down menu. Game Status This shows the latest FM version that you are running and the status of your save in FMRTE. It also show confirmation messages after saving any changes. This shows the number of values loaded into FMRTE from your save and the slider can be used to raise/reduce the editor's font size. Future Transfers This window shows by default all of the future transfers waiting to happen in your save. In here, you can edit the transfer date, transfer fee, destination club, the actual player, the type of contract, and more. There are two checkboxes near the bottom, one for 'show all future transfers' and the other for 'show unimportant future transfers'. The show all future transfers is self-explanatory as you can only select future transfers for your team(s) or all of the teams. The show unimportant future transfers is possibly the same as the other checkbox. It could only apply to leagues and nations that have a low rep but I need further clarification on this. Search Filters This window allows the user to filter any search you perform with different parameters or you can just simply type in something in the search bar and FMRTE will find the matches for you. As you can see, the picture below gives you the ability to filter your player search(es) with a range of parameters including wonderkid status, CA and/or PA rating, rep count, and more. The next two pictures are for the staff and club filters each with their own set of parameters. How this works is as follows:  Set the parameters by using the arrow keys, typing in the number or name or by ticking checkboxes.  Click the Search button.  You will be taken to your search filter result in a new tab and the search filter window will close.  The same again applies to the staff and club search filters. Mass Edits This feature empowers the user with the capability to batch edit players, backroom staff and clubs without the need to alter them individually. This feature really helps when you want to edit a large group of players but you don't have the time to do so. Just like the Search Filters, Mass Edit has its own group of parameters that you can choose to edit. The screen below is related to the player values. The corresponding two depictions are for the staff and club batch editors. The way Mass Edit operates is explained below:  Just like the Search Filters, set the parameters to edit via arrow keys, typing and/or checkboxes.  Click the lower right corner button labelled Press me to filter.  The Search Filter window will open and you do the same as you do in the Search Filter method above.  You will be reverted back to the Mass Edit window with Press me to filter replaced with a number.  Click Apply to apply the changes to the x number of objects you had just made a filter for.  You will receive a confirmation message saying Are you sure? and to backup your save as the changes are irreversible.  The same again applies to the staff and club batch editors. Player Retirements This tab shows all of the player retirements in your save. By double-clicking one of the retirements, you will enter his profile. You then click the Retire Date button, providing it is there, and you will be able to see and edit his retirement date as shown in the middle picture. Preset Manager This mini window shows the conditions that you can choose to create your own or to edit one of the built-in presets. You can also import presets you had previously made or downloaded. For the Object Type, you choose from one of the following options: By doing this, you will set the preset to work only on that particular object and it will not work on the other objects unless you choose club, club staff members, team, team staff members or team players. For Attribute underneath Team Number, you will be changing that specified value in your save. I have not provided a screen as the list is long however I am open to a request for the list should someone desire it. Freezer Manager This mini window shows the players that are set to be frozen when your save is loaded into FMRTE. This option can be found in the 'Settings' screen with an accompanying checkbox. As the picture suggests, you can freeze and unfreeze the players in this list without the need to search for the player and click Freeze or Unfreeze on their profile page. Favourites The Favourites drop-down menu shows the user what you have selected when you created your save. It will show your profile, the nation(s) you have loaded and the team(s) you are managing. This feature allows you to bookmark your favourite pages in FMRTE for much quicker access. By right-clicking an object in FMRTE, you can click the Add To Favourites button and it will show in here which is almost as good as the current screen feature. Shortlists This feature is something that I am not familiar with and need someone to explain it to me so it can be added. Settings > General This page shows the various options for FMRTE. You can change the currency shown in FMRTE, deactivate FMRTE, change the skin, and more. The Debug Mode checkbox is primarily used for testing purposes and to generate more info in the error log and possibly the diagnostics log too. Settings > Club Settings This screen allows the user to edit the columns shown on every club page and their order too. Settings > Filter Settings This is the same as uploads/Ingenierie_Lourd/ fmrte-guide.pdf
