Page 18 Tableau I Remplacer la note par ce qui suit: NOTE Dans les cas des premiers chiffres caractéristiques 3, 4, 5 et 6, la protection contre l’accès aux parties dangereuses est satisfaite si une distance suffisante est maintenue. Il convient que la distance suffisante soit spécifiée par le comité de produit concerné, en accord avec 12.3. L’expression «ne doit pas pénétrer» est donnée dans le tableau I à cause de l’exigence simultanée du tableau II. Page 20 Tableau II, Premier chiffre caractéristique 6, sous Conditions d’essai Changer les conditions d’essai comme suit: 13.4 et 13.6 Page 40 13.3 Conditions d’acceptation pour les premiers chiffres caractéristiques 1, 2, 3, 4 Remplacer le premier alinéa ainsi que la première phrase de la note par ce qui suit: La protection est satisfaisante si la plus grande section du calibre spécifié dans le tableau VII ne passe par aucune ouverture. NOTE Pour les premiers chiffres caractéristiques 3 et 4, les calibres spécifiés dans le tableau VII sont destinés à simuler des corps étrangers qui peuvent être sphériques. 13.4 Essai à la poussière pour les premiers chiffres caractéristiques 5 et 6 (La correction ne concerne que le texte anglais) Page 58 Figure 2 – Appareil pour la vérification de la protection contre la poussière (chambre à poussière). Page 19 Table I Replace the note by the following: NOTE In the case of the first characteristic numerals 3, 4, 5 and 6, protection against access to hazardous parts is satisfied if adequate clearance is kept. The adequate clearance should be specified by the relevant product committee in accordance with 12.3. Due to the simultaneous requirement specified in Table II, the definition "shall not penetrate" is given in Table I. Page 21 Table II, First characteristic numeral 6, under Test conditions Change the test conditions to read: 13.4 and 13.6 Page 41 13.3 Acceptance conditions for the first characteristic numerals 1, 2, 3, 4 Replace the first paragraph and the first sentence of the note by the following: The protection is satisfactory if the full diameter of the probe specified in Table VII does not pass through any opening. NOTE For the first characteristic numerals 3 and 4 the probes specified in Table VII are intended to simulate foreign objects which may be spherical. 13.4 Dust test for first characteristic numerals 5 and 6 In the second sentence, change "width" to "width of a gap".
