An auxilliary analog input is preinstalled in the glove box. Press the CD/AUX key to activate. A 3.5mm stereo jack cord (not supplied) is necessary AUX input must be ON in deep menu (press and hold "MENU" button until the display changes and then navigate with "UP- DOWN" keys to AUX ON/ OFF setting) 2 Connection of a mobile phone - Cradle connection: installation must be performed by your car dealer - Bluetooth mobile phone: 1) check if your mobile has a handsfree profile in the set up. 2) check with your car dealer, if the vehicle has the Bluetooth Voice Control box If both requirements are met, your mobile phone can be connected to the car radio via Bluetooth (installation guide is provided with the car). FOCUS and C-MAX only. Clock unit is part of the instrument cluster. The radio is only a display device for the clock data which is gathered through the car data bus (CAN). Depending on software version, clock can be adjusted via deep menu (press and hold "MENU" button until the display changes and then navigate with "UP- DOWN" keys to Clock setting) or menu. 2 No time displayed 1) Mondeo car radio has no clock function. 2) Focus & C-Max: Contact your Ford dealer. Mondeo is fitted with a separate clock! 3 Flickering radio display/keys illumination Contact your Ford dealer. 4 Tuner bad reception Check with your Ford dealer, if the Radio has latest version of software. Check antenna connections. 1/ Updating the Radio's software may improve radio reception performance. 2/ The original antenna shall not be replaced by another type. 3/ No antenna amplifier shall be used! 5 No sound No load No play No eject all kinds of abnormal behaviour Contact your Ford dealer, who will confirm the defect. Central repair center sends a repair part to the dealer, who shall return the defective set in the same packaging (detailed instructions included) 4 Spare part has not yet arrived Request VID/VIN or S/N or repair request number and dealer number and send that information to FBSR@eu.sony.com The central repair service will check and reply to CIC who will call back the dealer 5 How to handle out of warranty cases The direct repair procedure can be applied via the dealer, but invoice is on its own costs Spare part order same as IW. Dealer will be advised by repair center that a flat fee will be invoiced 6 Will the defective unit be returned repaired to the dealer? No. The defective unit is definitely replaced by the new one sent at first request by the central repair center. 7 Why is the repair request order form rejected by the service center?
