Throughout the aeons our World got soaked in Magic – falling stars, meteorite crashes…who do you think build the Floating Islands ? Many civilizations before us tried to enslave the arcane powers and use them for selfish gains…grim results that still haunt us to this day… ..for your first thing to do before everything else is collect the tears of the Sky – the falling stars. I already explained to you the principles of arcane casting and the importance of the ethereal energy flowing within you. I already taught you how to create Mana Crystals out of nothing which is magic on its own. The most important thing for you is to concentrate your mind and meditate until you mastered all of the Mana Crystals. Chapter II …for you need a tool to channel your inner energy… …I’m passing this teaching as it was passed down from generation to generation. The ability to charge gemstones with various magical powers is as old as the desert pyramids. Mages of Old created gem staves out of various gemstones and precious metals each serving different purposes… trying to master the arcane arts in their purest forms. Gem staves are simple but deadly in the right hands. Throughout the years I read a lot of old scrolls containing knowledge about these powerful tools and how to create them. The more valuable the Gem and Metal, the more powerful the Staff. Amethyst Staff – Made out of 10 Copper Bars and 8 Amethyst gems. Base Damage of 14/Base Mana cost of 3 Topaz Staff – Made out of 10 Tin Bars and 8 Topaz gems. Base Damage of 15/Base Mana cost of 4 Sapphire Staff – Made out of 10 Silver Bars and 8 Sapphire gems. Base Damage of 17/Base Mana cost of 5 Emerald Staff – Made out of 10 Tungsten Bars and 8 Emerald gems. Base Damage of 19/Base Mana cost of 6 Amber Staff – Made out of 15 chunks of Sturdy Fossil and 8 Amber gems. Base Damage of 20/Base Mana cost of 7 Ruby Staff – Made out of 10 Gold Bars and 8 Ruby gems. Base Damage of 21/Base Mana cost of 7 Diamond Staff – Made out of 10 Platinum Bars and 8 Diamond gems. Base Damage of 23/Base Mana cost of 8 I recommend after exploring the surface in a New World to find a desert and craft a Cactus Armor set. Treasure hunt for chests and pots and collecting fallen stars for Mana Crystals on your first nights must be done simultaneously. Searching for a Water Bolt spell tome on the surface level of the Dungeon is also a good idea. Collecting bombs and breaking some Shadow Orbs/Crimson Hearts will not only drop loot but has a 50% chance to cause a Meteorite Crash on the next midnight. The Meteor Armor set bonus is 0 mana cost for the Space Gun ( also crafted with meteorite ). With a base damage of 19 and a cost of 0 the Space Gun could be very useful against The Eye of Cthulhu and the Brain on Cthulhu/Eater of Worlds. However going against bosses with under 200 health points is not a good idea. Scouting the Underworld for Life Crystals is a must. The Eye of Cthulhu has a 1/3 chance to spawn each night if these conditions are met : The Eye of Cthulhu has not yet been defeated in the current world. At least one player in the World has at least 200 health and more than 10 defense points.
