Manila Bay Summary of Story: Jake De Jesus is a happy go lucky and lazy type of person but everything changes on the last day of their Summer T erm in their University when he met Janine Mendoza who would be the love of his life. Denied with the chance to get to know each other on their very first meeting, Jake was promised by his best friend Kenneth to introduce her to him by the next day at the park. Jake and Janine could not utter any words on that day as both of them are not aware of which topics they could talk about until Janine saw Jake's keychain of an anime character which started their conversation. They stayed in touch with each other and dated for several months. The day came when Jake finally got the courage to tell Janine his feelings and asked her if she could be his girlfriend which was a success since Janine has already fallen in love with Jake as well. They were a happy couple for a few months until the day that Jake was afraid of came, Janine suddenly asked him to stop and broke up with him because her father wanted her to go back to the province, Jake Insisted on having a Long Distance relationship but Janine declined and pushed with a breakup. Jake was left with a broken heart. Several years passed but Jake still couldn't move on with Janine, he decided to look for her in Social Media just to check if she is doing well and he was shocked when he found out that Janine already has a daughter. He lose hope and was already about to give up when his cousin Allan told him that Janine's daughter have a high resemblance with him and deduced a theory that she might be Jake's son. Jake asked Janine if the kid was his, where is the girl's father, or if she is already married but Janine refused to answer the questions. Marked continued on pressuring Janine with the questions until she finally admitted that Sarah was also Jake's daughter. They decided to meet and Janine told mark everything. Janine's father found out she was pregnant and pressured her to choose between Jake or her Father. Knowing that her father was the only relative she has, she does not have any other option but to leave Jake without telling him about her pregnancy. Jake decided to ask for Janine's hand for marriage from her father which was granted after a year of convincing. Janine and Jake together with their daughter Sarah is now living a happy life as a Family. Plot of scenes, location and time. Scene 1: Location: Valdez/Vargaz Residence Time: Day (anytime from 10 am to 8 pm) Sequence 1: (Jake's Room) Jake is sleeping enjoying his lazy life when his alarm clock rang and made him realize that it was the last day of their summer term. Jake immediately dressed up. Sequence 2: (Jake's Room) Jake was texting and calling Janine. Sequence 3: (Jake's house) Jake was missing Janine so much after all those years, so he decided to look for her in social media, he was successful but he found out that Janine already have a daughter, he was about to lose hope but Allan told him about his resemblance with Janine's daughter, so mark check if it's true, after convincing his self that Janine's daughter might be his as well, he tried to contact Janine, though he was able to contact her, Janine refuse to tell mark the truth that Sarah is Jake's Daughter, Jake didn't gave up asking and eventually Janine confessed the truth and asked to meet Jake the next day. Sequence 4: (Janine's Room) She was texting and calling Jake. Sequence 5: (Janine's Room) Janine was texting with Jake when he suddenly called and asked if they can have a dinner. Sequence 6: (Janine's house) Janine was feeling nauseous and is frequenting the bathroom, when his father noticed it, and her father have a suspicion that she was pregnant, her father then left her a choice, to go with Jake which she doesn't have a future with and abort the child, or stay with her only remaining family and keep her child. Janine couldn't chose Jack over her Father. Sequence 7: (Janine's Room | night) She couldn't sleep that night as she was thinking about Jake. Sequence 8: (Jake's Room | night) Jake could not sleep that night thinking about Janine and was having a hard time sleeping. Scene 2: Location: Up Diliman Time: Day (9am-11am) Sequence 1: Jake arrived at the university and saw Kenneth. While they were talking, Janine will arrive and give some greetings to Kenneth, Jake was speechless, Kenneth noticed that he forgot to introduce her to him because Janine was in a rush. Kenneth promised Jake to have him introduced by the next day. Sequence 2: Janine was walking in school when she saw Kenneth and Jake talking, she greeted Kenneth but left right away as she was rushing to submit her requirements in school. Sequence 3: Janine is walking inside the campus when her phone rang, it was Kenneth asking her if she can meet them the tomorrow so he can introduce Jake to her properly which Janine accepted. Sequence 4: Jake and Janine is helping each other in making homework, projects, and other school requirements. Scene 3: Location: Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Time: Day (11 am to 5 pm) Sequence 1: Jake met up with Kenneth, they were talking as they were waiting for Janine to arrive. Both Janine and Jake was clueless on what to talk about when Janine noticed Jake's Keychain which started their conversation. Sequence 2: Janine is walking in the park when she worried about how she look like as this would be the day she would be introduced to Jake. she saw Jake and Kenneth and as soon as she arrive she was introduced to mark, they don't know what to talk about until she saw his keychain which started their conversation. Sequence 3: Jake and Janine is enjoying dating in the park, walking around, taking pictures, and checking out the animals at the zoo. Sequence 4: Jake and Janine are seated at a certain part of the park, talking about their future. Sequence 5: Janine asked mark to come, as she was about to break up with Jake. Jake would rebut to keep their relationship but Janine refused and left. Sequence 6: (afternoon) Janine and Jake met at the park to introduce their daughter to him, they walked around, ate, and checked the zoo, they we're a happy family, the scene will end with them standing, their silhouette against the sunset. Scene 4: Location: SM North Edsa/Trinoma Time: Day to Night (5pm - 7pm) Sequence 1: (Restaurant | Night) Jake was having dinner with Janine when he confessed his feelings for her, which Janine accepted. Sequence 2: (inside the mall) Jake and Janine was having a date in the mall walking around, window shopping, and going to cinema's.
