Types of Tour Itinerary • Skeletal: Proposed and preliminary schedule of activities. • Technical: arrival and departure schedules, duration of sightseeing, land travel time, type of accommodation and so on. • Descriptive: provides a narrative of the planned activities and destinations visited. It’s produced for marketing purposes. It emphasizes on the basic things that the tourist need & want to know relating to all the aspects of the tour. This document provides him the essential information such as departure point/time, check in – check out time, etc. • Tour Manager’s itinerary: this is the most comprehensive type of itinerary. PASSPORT APPLICATION PROCEDURE • STEP 1 – Register through the Passport Seva Online Portal.(click on “register now” link on the home page). • STEP 2 – Login to the Passport Seva online portal with the registered login ID. • STEP 3 – Click “apply for fresh passport/re-issue of passport” link. • STEP 4 – Fill in the required details in the form and submit. • STEP 5 – Click the “ pay and schedule appointment” link on the view saved/submitted applications” screen to schedule an appointment.(online payment has been made mandatory) • STEP 6 – Click “print application receipt” link to print the application receipt containing application reference number/appointment number. • STEP 7 – visit the Passport Seva Kendra/Regional Passport Office where appointment has been booked, along with original documents. (permanent employment-work visa). • WORKING HOLIDAY VISA - for individuals traveling between nations offering a working holiday program, allowing young people to undertake temporary work while traveling. • ATHLETIC OR ARTISTIC VISA - issued to athletes and performing artists (and their supporting staff) performing at competitions, concerts, shows and other events. Cultural exchange visa, usually issued to athletes and performing artists participating in a cultural exchange program. • STUDENT VISA - which allows its holder to study at an institution of higher learning in the issuing country. • TEMPORARY WORKER VISA For approved employment in the host country.
