v1.4 du 04-02-2020 3 1 C ette aide de jeu non-officielle compile diverses créatures parues dans les scénarios et supplé- ments officiellement estampillés Chroniques Oubliées Fantasy. Les sources exactes ne se- ront pas détaillées dans les description (mais sont le sont en Annexe), mais sachez que les créa- tures qui suivent proviennent d’Anathazerïn, Invincible, le Recueil de mini-aventures COF, le Recueil de scénarios H&D (qui contient les statistiques pour COF), et les scénarios parus dans Casus Belli. N’ont été reprises que les créatures considérées comme « standards », dans le sens où elles apparais- sent dans un recueil similaire du plus vieux des jeux de rôle, toutes éditions confondues. On ne trouvera donc pas ici de créature unique « nommée », ni de monstres un peu trop exotiques et a priori propres à un scénario particulier. Aboleth Araignée de phase Nouvelles créatures L’aboleth est une étrange et énorme (3 tonnes environ) créature amphibienne, sans doute issue d’autres plans, qui vit parfois dans les lacs et les cours d’eau souterrains. Quatre orifices sombres s’ouvrent sur le bas de son corps et sécrètent des mucosités visqueuses à l’odeur doucereuse et désagréable. Il utilise sa queue pour se propulser dans l’eau et ses tentacules pour ramper sur terre. L’aboleth parle l’aquatique et le commun des Profondeurs.
