Mentoring and Cultural Transition programs UNSW has many mentoring programs. One of these programs is the Cultural Mentor program, where new students apply to be matched with a Cultural Mentor before they arrive in Australia. Your Cultural Mentor could be an international or Australian student. The program introduces new international students to a senior student ‘buddy’ who will answer questions about UNSW and Sydney before you arrive.
