PETS ARE DOMESTIC OR TAMED ANIMALS KEPT FOR COMPANIONSHIP OR PLEASURE THE COMMON PETS I KNOW ARE:- DOGS, CATS, RABBITS and PARROTS. 2. MY FAVOURITE PET IS A DOG. BECAUSE OF TIME USE THIS PRESENTATION TO TELL YOU ALL I KNOW ABOUT A DOG. A dog has sharp teeth. It has four legs, two ears, two eyes, a tail, a mouth, and a nose. Page 1 of 3 My pet is a very clever and useful animal. It runs very fast, barks loudly and attacks bad people like thieves. A dog can save the life of the owner. Dogs are found everywhere in the world. They are very faithful animals. They have sharp minds and strong sense of hearing. Also dogs have many other qualities like ability to swim, jump, and a strong sense of smell . Dogs are liked by many people because of their faithfulness and watchfulness. They are intelligent. Dogs come in different colors such as grey, white, black, brown, etc. They are of many kinds such as a. Bloodhound, b. Greyhound, c. German shepherd, d. Rottweiler, e. Bulldog poodle, f. Chikwawa etc. Dogs eat fish, meat, milk, rice, bread, biscuits, and Bones. Dogs are sometimes referred to as man’s best friend because they are usually loyal and like being around humans. They are also helpful in reducing stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness, encourage exercise and playfulness and even improve cardiovascular health. A dog also provides valuable companionship for older adults. Page 2 of 3 When dogs see their owners returning home, they rush to them and jump on them to show their love and friendship. Dogs are brave and honest and are ready to die to save a friend. Dogs always provide security to their owner day and night. Dogs live and sleep in a dog-house called a kennel. A baby dog is called a puppy. Dogs are categorized according to their service to people such as Guard dogs, Hunting dogs, Police dogs, Guide dogs, and Sniffer dogs.
