Pre Medical Guide Course Requirements for Michigan Medical Schools The following courses are either required by all Michigan medical schools or are highly recommended to take prior to application to medical school. Note that some of these are not listed as required courses on the school’s websites but are included as embedded prerequisites to higher level courses listed. This document is a GUIDE only. Students must consult with their Pre Professional Health Careers advisor AND the appropriate medical schools on a regular basis for revisions to course requirements and to identify and ensure completion of all required courses.
